About Us

Back Track Motorsports was founded in 2022. It all started when the two owners, Warner Adams and Kyle Schlesinger, took their lifetime love and passion for the sport of drag racing and turned it into a business to give back to the racing community. Warner got involved in the racing scene from a very young age due to his father being largely into drag racing as well as being an avid car enthusiast. For years, Warner has worked as a machinist and a heavy equipment mechanic but decided it was time to turn his passion into something he could do everyday. In 2017 he finally purchased a car of his own, a 1970 Chevrolet Nova, and took his knowledge from the drawing board and applied it to his first personal build which has already been through many renderings. What started as a simple carbureted N/A 5.3/4L80E street car deal has turned into a full blown turbocharged high horsepower race car with streetability in mind throughout the entire build. In recent years, Warner has taken great interest in the no prep scene of the racing world and is slowly converting the car over to compete. Similar to Warner, Kyle has also been an avid car enthusiast, mostly credited to his father being an automotive service technician his whole career. Kyle spent many days at the track growing up before he got involved in 2015 working on an open wheel modified for many years. Kyle quickly realized he needed to be in the drivers seat an acquired a 2001 Mustang GT. Although the car came mostly stock aside from some basic bolt on parts and a 100 shot of nitrous it stayed that way for many years. In the most recent years, Kyle has found himself at the drag strip and street racing style events which quickly changed his mind and decided to morph the the 4.6 2V into a drag car. The mustang will soon be sporting a 70mm turbo and complete drag racing suspension. Kyle is a talented fabricator and brings a wide variety of skills to the table. Our goal is to provide other racers with tested and proven quality parts and bracketry made right here in the USA! Here at Back Track Motorsports we pride ourselves in designing and creating our products to meet and exceed the expectations and needs of the end user both on and off the track!
